The Video Art Show "Transformations: Exploration Through Video Art"

a Journey of Inner and Outer Transformations www.ephemereye.art

In our lives dominated by constant streams of communication, we find ourselves confronted with a persistent disruption of peaceful discourse. Examples include the unsettling echoes of the American January 6th riots, the haunting shadow of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, or the universal heartbreaking collapse of personal connections. These events reverberate through the fabric of our world. This show’s artistic theme asks important questions within the context of the disrupted discourse: Does such disruption lead to transformation on both personal and social levels? What happens to us as people? As artists? Does it lead to reassessing our value system? How do we cope?

The exhibition curated by Dr. Veronica Shimanovskaya "Transformations: Exploration Through Video Art" presents work by 22 artists from 8 countries.

Andre Perim (Brazil), Greg Marshall (Canada), Jean-Michel Rolland, Pierre Ajavon (France), Chao Li,  Joas Nebe (Germany), Matteo Campulla, Daniela Lucato (Italy), Jill Gibson, Michał Lubiński, Minns and Brener(UK/US), (United Kingdom), Anastasia Dziuba, Hanna Trofimova, Evgen Korshunov, Sergii Simutin (Ukraine), and Russell Chartier, Veronica Shimanovskaya, Nancy Wyllie, Robert Ladislas Derr, Liat Berdugo and Emily Martinez (USA).

As part of the show "Transformations: Exploration Through Video Art ", Starta Arta will be hosting a special talk and workshop titled "Transformation as Preservation."
